There is only one solution, and all of you know what it is.

In April of 1775, a small group of Patriots, fed up and disgusted with usurpations and violations of their [previous] way of life, took a stand on a small bridge in Massachusetts. Deployed against them was a much larger force of trained Army regulars, soldiers of the most powerful nation in the world, who had been sent to commandeer the local arsenal of these same Patriots.

The skirmish that ensued was the opening salvo of the American Revolution, laying ground for that defining document of America, and among the greatest political statement's of History, The Declaration of Independence, which followed a scant 15 months later.

That bridge looms before us now; intact down these long years since that small group of brave men, disgusted and angry at the betrayal by their former ancestral home, cast their lives and fortunes aside; determined, no matter the cost, to recover the precious gifts of Liberty and self-determination that had been lost to the arrogance of distant Mercantilist interests, and a Monarch corrupted by their influence.

We, too, now face the corrupting influence of Mercantile interests, and a national government that has become so dysfunctional and decadent as to be scarcely recognizable to those among us older than MTV. The Congress has ceased to function as it was intended, we are governed by a bureaucratic Administrative state that reaches down to each and every facet of our lives; that has declared itself Judge and Jury over the lives of all Americans. A government that matches and in many cases exceeds those usurpations and complaints listed in that Declaration written, published and signed by other brave men who pledged their lives, their fortunes, their scared honor to the cause; the restoration of their previous way of life, unencumbered by Monarch nor Parliament, and the corrupting factions that ruled both.

Well, my friends, we have a choice which though simple, can and will mean life or death for America, and for the citizen-patriots who wait, as this is written, to rise to the defense of what was, and to its restoration.

Our history has proven at least one thing; that it is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.

You decide.

Also, if Trayvon was stalked and attacked by Zimmerman, as may be the case, he would have been permitted (what an awful phrase) to "stand his ground" and fight back under that particular law. If The State permitted him to be armed, that is.

But I wasn't there so I don't know what really transpired.

Not only that, but Trayvon would have been permitted (what an awful phrase) to "stand his ground" when/if attacked by Zimmerman who apparently was following him with intent to attack. Once again, if Trayvon were permitted to be armed.
